Isaiah 4:2  –  “In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious…”  –  A rod is a branch that is “cut off” (see Daniel 9:26).

Amos 7:7, 8  –  “…a plumb linea plumb line…”  –  A plumb is a sort of measuring rod.

Micah 7:14  –  “Shepherd Your people with Your scepter…”
