The purification of the New Testament church was fulfillment of God’s Old Testament promise to purify Israel.  Thus “the remnant of Israel would tell no lies” (Zephaniah 3:10) and Israel would be constituted of those who were “pure in heart” (Psalm 73:1).

This post gives the big picture view.  The Purification of the New Testament Church gives more detail.  Then, Purified Israel speaks of the final outcome.  The final outcome was the kingdom of God.  That is, the saints who endured to the end were saved (Matthew 24:13; Mark 13:13).  This kingdom is available to us today, if we are willing to diligently seek it.
