Believers

According to www.lockman.org, there are 20 verses in the NASB which contain “believer” all of which are listed below).  This, of course, includes the plural “believers” as well as occurrences of “unbeliever” and “unbelievers.”  Below, I have put occurrences of “believer(s)” in bold, and occurrences of “unbeliever(s)” in underline.

Luke 12:46  –  “…and assign him a place with the unbelievers.”

Acts 5:14  –  “And all the more believers in the Lord…were constantly added to their number,”

Acts 10:45  –  “All the circumcised believers who came with Peter were amazed…”

Acts 16:1  –  “…And a disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer…”

1 Corinthians 6:6  –  “but brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?

1 Corinthians 7:12  –  “…if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever…”

1 Corinthians 10:27  –  “If one of the unbelievers invites you…”

1 Corinthians 14:22  –  “…not to those who believe but to unbelievers…not to unbelievers but to those who believe.”

1 Corinthians 14:23  –  “…and ungifted men or unbelievers enter…”
1 Corinthians 14:24  –  “…and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all;”

2 Corinthians 6:14  – “Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:15  –  “Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?”

Galatians 3:9  –  “…Abraham, the believer.”

1 Thessalonians 1:7  –  “so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.”

1 Thessalonians 2:10  –  “…how devoutly and uprightly and blamelessly we behaved toward you believers;”

1 Timothy 4:10  –  “…the Savior of all men, especially of believers.”

1 Timothy 5:8  –  “…he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

1 Timothy 5:16  –  “If any woman who is a believer has dependent widows…”

1 Timothy 6:2  –  “Those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are brethren, but must serve them all the more, because those who partake of the benefit are believers and beloved…”

1 Peter 1:20, 21  –  “…for the sake of you who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.”
