2 Corinthians 12:1  –  “…but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.”

Colossians 2:18  –  “…taking his stand on visions he has seen…”

Proverbs 29:18  –  “Where there is no vision…”

*Jeremiah 1:11-12
*Jeremiah 1:13-19

Jeremiah 18:18  –  “…Surely the law is not going to be lost to the priest, nor counsel to the sage, nor the divine word to the prophet…”  –  Compare with Ezekiel 7:26 and see that “divine word” substitutes for “vision” in this expression.  In this regard, note that while 1 Samuel 3:15 (above) speaks of “vision,” the narrative itself tells only a “divine word” being spoken.

Lamentations 2:9  –  “…The law is no more.  Also, her prophets find no vision from the LORD.”

Ezekiel 7:26  –  “…then they will seek a vision from a prophet, but the law will be lost from the priest and counsel from the elders.”

Daniel 10:1  –  “…a message was revealed to Daniel, who was named Belteshazzar; and the message was true and one of great conflict, but he understood the message and had an understanding of the vision.”

Joel 2:28  –  “…your young men will see visions.”

Habakkuk 2:2  –  “…Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run.
Habakkuk 2:3  – “For the vision is yet for the appointed time…”
