Bible Notes on “If You Lose Your Way, Return to Christ in Humility and Childlike Simplicity”

The scripture references below go with today’s post of A Scriptural Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

Isaiah 31:6  (Do you think you have strayed too far for the Lord to forgive you?  Note that the call in this verse is to those who have “deeply defected.”  That is, even if you have defected and defected deeply, He welcomes you back.)

Luke 15:11-32  (You remember the story of the Prodigal Son, don’t you?  He was one who had “deeply defected,” and his return brought great joy!  Jesus told this story to encourage your return.  No one is beyond His mercy.)

If you are familiar with the Bible, or if you want to hear more from it, you may want to read one of my other blogs: A Bible Reader’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

Any quotations of Scripture are taken from the NASB, unless otherwise noted.
