Some people may struggle with admitting that there is such a thing as absolute truth, but no one struggles with the reality of lying.  If you’ve ever been lied to, you know the experience and you hate it.  If nothing else convinces you that truth exists, your own experience with lying should.

John 8:44  –  “…Whenever [the devil]  speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

Romans 9:1  –  “I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying…”

Galatians 1:20  –  “…I assure you before God that I am not lying

1 Timothy 2:7  –  “…I am telling the truth, I am not lying…”

1 John 2:4  –  “The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;”

1 John 2:21  –  “…no lie is of the truth.”

1 John 2:22  –  “Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ?…”

1 John 4:20  – “If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.”

Revelation 21:8 –  “…the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars…”

Revelation 22:15  –  “…and everyone who loves and practices lying.”
