Since we truly love the Lord, how do we insure that we are truly treating Him as Lord and not just offering Him lip service?  Here are some specifics; I’ve made bold the most relevant words and phrases.

Matthew 8:9 (same as Luke 7:8 below)  – “For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.”

Matthew 9:13  –  “But go and learn what this means…”  –  Correlate with Ephesians 5:10 below.

Luke 6:46-49  –  “”Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?  Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them…”

Luke 7:8 (same as Matthew 8:9 above)  – “For I also am a man placed under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.””

John 2:5  –  “Whatever He says to you, do it.”

John 8:31  –  “”If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine”

Ephesians 6:5-8  –  See 1 Peter 2:13-15 below.

Colossians 3:22, 23, 24  –  See 1 Peter 2:13-15 below.
