Joshua 24:24  –  “…We will serve the Lord our God and we will obey His voice.”  –  An NASB marginal note on “obey” reads “Lit listen to.”  Correlate this “listening” with the “listening” in 1 Kings 10:8 below.

Psalm 100:2  –  “Serve the LORD with gladness…”

Malachi 3:18  –  “So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.”
