Genesis 16:14  –  The NASB marginal note on this verse says that “Beer-lahai-roi” means “the well of the living one who sees me.”  Jesus is the living one who sees us!  (For more, see The Well of the Living One Who Sees Me.)

Deuteronomy 5:26  –  This is the first of 27 verses in the Bible which contain the expression “the living God” (15 in the Old Testament and 12 in the New Testament).  Each can be considered a foreshadowing of the resurrection of Christ – “the living One” as in (Luke 24:5 and Revelation 1:17-18, both above).  See also Christ Is the Living God.
