This salvation He has provided for us is a salvation of the soul – not circumstances. And what more could we want, given that life is lived in the soul (Mark 8:36) – that place where body and spirit come together to produce the thoughts and emotions which are the essence of our consciousness (Hebrews 4:12).
This sampling of verses mentioning salvation also includes verses mentioning save since the latter is the verbal version of the former. The same applies to savior.
