It is also a subsidiary post of Christ.

There is no conflict between this post and the related post, Faith Is in What God Has Said. This is because Christ is the ultimate word of God (Jesus as the Word of God).  He is “what God has said.”

The faith which the apostles left us is a faith in Christ.  He is the one they proclaimed; He is the one we are to trust.  Therefore, the object of our faith is a person – the person of Jesus Christ, Son of God, Lord of heaven and earth.  Thus the faith that the apostles taught is very, very specifically to be placed in Christ.  Faith is very much a personal matter – personal to Christ.
