Given the way that the Bible talks about Jesus, we owe Him a singularity of focus.

Matthew 1:21 – He is the one who saves His people from their sins.
Luke 6:46 – He is the one we call Lord, and the one we obey.
John 5:23 – He is the one we should honor as we have honored His Father (see Isaiah 22:24 below).
John 5:39 – He is the one about whom the Scriptures were written.
John 5:40 – He is the one to whom we are to come.
John 6:68 – He is the one who has words of eternal life.
John 20:31 – He is the one in whose name we have life.
Acts 2:36 – He is the one made both Lord and Christ.
Acts 3:26 – He is the one who blesses us by turning us from our wicked ways.
Acts 4:11 – He is the stone that, having been rejected by the builders, was made the cornerstone by God.
Acts 4:12 – He is the only one in whom salvation can be found, and thus there is no other name that has a status like His.
Acts 10:42 – He is the one appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead.
1 Corinthians 1:30-31 – He is the one who is to us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption – all from God.
2 Corinthians 5:21 – He is the one in whom God was at work reconciling the world to Himself.
2 Corinthians 11:3 – He is the one to whom we should be simply and purely devoted.
Galatians 2:20 – He is the one in whom our faith is placed day by day.
Ephesians 2:20 – He is the cornerstone.
Philippians 3:8 – He is the one we know, resulting in surpassing value to us.
Philippians 3:10 – He is the one whom we should know.
Colossians 2:2 – He is God’s mystery who can nonetheless be known.
Colossians 2:3 – He is the one in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge can be found.
Colossians 2:5 – He is the one in whom we are to have a stable faith.
Colossians 3:24 – He is the one whom we serve.
Hebrews 5:9 – He is the one source of eternal salvation to those who obey Him. This is verified in Acts 4:12 above.
Hebrews 5:11 – He is the one about whom there is still much to say!
James 4:12 – He is the one lawgiver and judge, the one able to save and to destroy.
1 Peter 1:2 – He is the one we are called to obey.
1 Peter 1:8 – He is the one whom we cannot see but nevertheless love and trust.
1 John 3:23 – He is the one in whose name we should believe.
2 John 1:9 – He is the one in whose teaching we must abide.
Psalm 100:2 – He is the one whom we are to serve with gladness.
Isaiah 31:6 – He is the one to whom we return.
Isaiah 22:24 – He is the one on whom hangs all the glory of His Father’s house (see John 5:23 above).
Jeremiah 9:23-24 – He is the one whom knowing and understanding is something worth boasting about.
