Bible Notes on “Be Who You Are in the Lord”

The scripture references below go with today’s post of A Nonchurchgoer’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

Galatians 2:20  (The change wrought in Christ is no less significant than that of death to life.)

2 Corinthians 5:17  (Because Christ has inherited all things, you are a new creature.)

Philemon 1:15-16  (Note how a lowly slave in the Roman Empire was transformed through Christ to be as important as the apostle Paul.)

Acts 17:28  (What once was said of God can now and forever be said of Christ.  That is, “in Christ we live and move and exist.”  The wording of the King James Version of this verse – Acts 17:28 KJV – may sound more familiar to you.)

If you are familiar with the Bible, or if you want to hear more from it, you may want to read one of my other blogs: A Bible Reader’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

Any quotations of Scripture are taken from the NASB, unless otherwise noted.
