Bible Notes on “Faith Is the Result of a Thinking Process”

The scripture references below go with today’s post of A Nonchurchgoer’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

John 20:30-31  (John here explains why he wrote his gospel of Christ.  He wanted to make you think about Jesus.  And, having thought about Him, to believe in Him.)

Luke 1:1-4  (Luke wants you to think more about the things you have been taught of Christ.  He wants your thinking to be more precise.  If faith were a non-thinking process, his gospel would be one word long and say simply “Believe!”

If you are familiar with the Bible, or if you want to hear more from it, you may want to read one of my other blogs: A Bible Reader’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

Any quotations of Scripture are taken from the NASB, unless otherwise noted.
