Bible Notes on “Biblical Faith Is Altogether Reasonable”

The scripture references below go with today’s post of A Nonchurchgoer’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

2 Corinthians 13:1  (Here’s a simply yet reliable way to establish what is factual.  In the second part of this verse, Paul is quoting from Deuteronomy 17:6 and similar Old Testament verses which reference this principle Israel was to follow.)

1 Peter 3:15  (A biblical faith is one that can be explained at the drop of a hat.)

Mark 12:28-34  (Notice that “with all your mind” is part of “the Great Commandment.”)

Thus we should use our minds – our reason – in all our dealings with God.

If you are familiar with the Bible, or if you want to hear more from it, you may want to read one of my other blogs: A Bible Reader’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

Any quotations of Scripture are taken from the NASB, unless otherwise noted.
