Bible Notes on “Jesus Doesn’t Ask Us to Walk Like Him Without Offering to Walk with Us”

The scripture reference below goes with today’s post of A Nonchurchgoer’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

Matthew 11:28-30  (Obviously, the “yoke” implies that He is walking alongside us.  Would you be willing to be yoked to you?  Consider how great a commitment Christ is extending to you in making this promise!  That Christ is willing to be yoked to you is a demonstration of just how much He loves you – and just how closely He’s willing to walk with you.)

If you are familiar with the Bible, or if you want to hear more from it, you may want to read one of my other blogs: A Bible Reader’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.

Any quotations of Scripture are taken from the NASB, unless otherwise noted.
