The scripture references below go with today’s post of A Nonchurchgoer’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.
Matthew 21:1-5 (Here is Jesus entering Jerusalem just days before He would be crucified there. He was gentle and humble, mounted not in a great chariot, but on a donkey.)
Zephaniah 3:12 (Here we are imitating our Lord Jesus. As He was, so also are we.)
Romans 8:17 (We suffer with Jesus in this life that we might be glorified with Him in the one to come.)
Hebrews 11:24-25 (We accept ill-treatment for trying to be godly, rather than pursuing pleasure along with crowd. That ill-treatment goes hand in hand with the desire to be godly can be seen in 2 Timothy 3:12.)
If you are familiar with the Bible, or if you want to hear more from it, you may want to read one of my other blogs: A Bible Reader’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.
