James 4:13-15 (Some people interpret this passage something like “If the good Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise,” but that’s a fatalistic view. Rather, the passage is a reminder that the Lord’s will is that we, day by day, live in selfless love for others. On this basis, it would be impossible to know well in advance how a business decision should be made. One needs the specific context for that decision in order to know the right thing to do.)
