The scripture references below go with today’s post of A Nonchurchgoer’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.
Luke 15:11-32 (Here’s the story of the prodigal son. Note that when the prodigal son had squandered what his father had given him, the wayward son finally had the good sense to get up and go back to his father. And there the son was bestowed wealth from the father’s abundance once again. Our Heavenly Father never runs out of grace! But woe unto those who don’t go to Him for grace. The older brother was nearby and still didn’t go to the father for grace that could have been his for the asking.)
