2 Corinthians 4:6
Luke 1:76 (This is part of a prophesy made to John the Baptist when he was a baby. While the New American Standard Bible and most English translations say, “you will go on before the Lord,” the King James Version says, “thou shalt go before the face of the Lord.” The “face of the Lord,” of course, we now know to have been Jesus, because He was the one John preceded and announced. All the translations work though, because whether you view Jesus as the face of the Lord or as the Lord Himself, you are right.)
If you are familiar with the Bible, or if you want to hear more from it, you may want to read one of my other blogs: A Bible Reader’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.
