Bible Notes on “Jesus Is a Matter of History”

Reading all four gospels will serve you well.  However, if you only have time to read one of them make it the gospel of John.  It has 21 chapters.  Read a chapter a day and it will take you less than a month to complete the book.  God’s Holy Spirit will visit you as you read each day.  You can know Jesus in your heart without any human intermediary other than the words themselves.

If you want your reading to make more sense, do what is right.  Be honest, loving, and selfless where others are concerned.  Do not seek worldly success.  Instead, seek to love God and serve those around you.  If you do these things, your knowledge of Jesus will continue to grow -as will His blessing on your life.

If you are familiar with the Bible, or want to hear more from it, you may want to read the companion blog: A Bible Reader’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom.
