Bible Notes on “We Are All Brothers and Sisters”

Genesis 4:9 reveals the age-old question we have asked as a way to make an excuse for ourselves.

A lawyer tried the same tack with Jesus in Luke 10:29, and it was just as useless.  This question provoked Jesus to tell the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37).

In Acts 27:24-31, the apostle Paul reveals the essence of God’s way of thinking about salvation: that is, to keep folks together and bring them all through safely.
